New Field Farm's Online Market:  U-PICK BLUEBERRIES!

We’re now open for u-pick blueberries Wed. – Sun. 8-5. The price is $2.55/lb. ($3.00/ lb. for non-members). Bring your own containers or we can provide.

Last week’s heat was brutal, needless to say. One casualty was the snap peas, as well as a lot of overripe Sakura cherry tomatoes and bolted basil in the greenhouse. And wilted farmers. I hope you found your produce to be all right, despite the heat.

PLEASE NOTE – There’s a one pint limit per order for blueberries. Blueberries take a long time to pick and there’s a lot of other veggies to harvest. COME PICK YOUR OWN! FRESH AIR, EXERCISE, AND CHEAPER PRICE!

There’s also a one pint limit for Sakuras. The Sakuras are popular so we want to spread them around. I planted more of them this year, but they’re not producing a lot more than last season.

For both of them, if you want more than one pint please ask in the comment section as usual and we’ll see what we can do.

No salad mix this week, a rare occurence. The heat plus a previous torrential rain that washed away a lot of seed are the reasons.

I hope you all survived the heat okay. Just think how cold we were in the winter!

Thanks as ever for your orders.

Thanks for your support, and we will see you on Wednesday!

Florida Suncoast Locally Grown:  market is open

the market is now open for the summer:)

Yalaha, FL:  Yalaha Market Back Open

I’m Back.

Order now through 5 pm July 12th for July 14th Pickup (or contact me if you want a different day, we have some flexibility.)

Wet season is here, Kale is done. Only a small amount of lettuce available now. Summer in Florida means only limited things grow well and most farms take summer as a down time for cleaning, re-building, and taking a vacation. We are no different.

Come August and September I am unlikely to have any lettuce but if people let me know they are interested, I could put together a “Summer” Salad mix which may have things like amaranth, New Zeland and Malabar Spinach, and micro greens and shoots like small pea shoots, sunflower shoots, kale micro greens, broccoli micro greens, and turnip micro greens. If anyone would be interested in such a mix, please let me know (I won’t plant for it unless I hear about interest in it.)

Remember to tell me when you want to pick up!

Send me a message if you are interested in Getting Channel Catfish.

If you have any particular requests, let me know I’m happy to grow to order.

Sign in to order.

You have to sign in to see the add to cart button. Then click the add to cart button on the items you want to buy. Remember you need to check out before your order will be placed.
Remember to let me know when you want to pick up on Sat or maybe even Friday late afternoon or on Sunday. (If I don’t send you an e-mail confirmation of your order and pick up time, please make sure you checked out and completed your order.)
